Mughal Empire

 Shah Jahan, Jahangir's son and successor, is most famous for building the Taj Mahal in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. He also commissioned the construction of the Red Fort in Delhi, which became the center of Mughal power.The decline of the Mughal Empire began in the 18th century, due to a combination of internal strife, economic decline, and external pressures from European colonial powers. The last Mughal emperor, Bahadur Shah Zafar, was exiled by the British in 1858, marking the end of the Mughal dynasty. Despite its decline, the legacy of the Mughal Empire continues to influence Indian culture and society today.
