Belgium is a country located in Western Europe, bordered by the Netherlands to the north, Germany to the east, Luxembourg to the southeast, France to the southwest, and the North Sea to the northwest. Its official name is the Kingdom of Belgium, and it is a constitutional monarchy with Brussels as its capital and largest city.

Belgium has a population of approximately 11.5 million people, and it covers an area of about 30,500 square kilometers. It has three main regions: Flanders in the north, Wallonia in the south, and the Brussels-Capital Region, which is a bilingual enclave within Flanders. Belgium has three official languages: Dutch, French, and German.
