Bulgaria is a country located in Southeastern Europe, bordered by Romania to the north, Serbia and North Macedonia to the west, Greece and Turkey to the south, and the Black Sea to the east. Its official name is the Republic of Bulgaria, and its capital is Sofia.

Bulgaria has a population of approximately 7 million people and covers an area of about 111,000 square kilometers. It is known for its diverse landscape, which includes the Balkan Mountains, the Black Sea coastline, and the Danube River.
