Jordan

 


Geography: Jordan is a relatively small country, covering an area of about 89,342 square kilometers. It is mostly desert, with some mountains in the west and south. The country is home to the lowest point on Earth, the Dead Sea, and the ancient city of Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Language: Arabic is the official language of Jordan and is spoken by the majority of the population. English is widely spoken, especially in business and tourism.
